Fun items I recently purchased...

I have been dying to get this mug since last December. When I was shopping for Christmas gifts, I ran across it and thought it would be a great gift for my fellow coffee/tea drinkers. When I called Tiffany's to order it, they said it was not available. It was back ordered until MARCH! I was so sad!

When we went to Vegas, I was sure that one of the 483,928,592 Tiffany stores in Vegas would have one. I checked at two of the stores and they didn't have it so I gave up on finding it in Vegas.

I guess I got lucky when I called to order some items because they had it in stock!

It came packaged perfectly in the little big blue box with a white satin ribbon. (Which I now have on display in my office.) The quality of the mug is outstanding. I love the size, and that it doesn't weigh a lot compared to a standard coffee mug.

At my random outing to the mall on Monday, I wandered in to Charlotte Russe and found these beauties. Go Tigers! I'm not a big fan of bracelets and definitely not bangles but these were too cute to pass up! Only $5.00! Yay!

Oh and I ran again today!
Well more power walking than running. Oh well.

Las Vegas and Lake Havasu

Just got back from Vegas and Havasu. Well actually we got back five days ago but my life is just now back in order.

What a trip.

Driving from Missouri to Nevada is not fun. Especially when you are hauling a humongous boat.

Anyway.

This was my first trip to Vegas so I had to get a lot done in three days. I got to see the Peepshow with Holly Madison and I LOVED it. I also got to see Cirque Du Soleil Mystere. We wandered the Vegas streets for two days and I think I saw almost everything. I was exhausted.

Somewhere in Caesar's Palace. That place is HUGE!

This was inside one of the malls. Clouds painted on the ceiling!

We visited the dolphin habitat which was probably my favorite part of the whole trip. I can't be away from water for very long and considering the Nevada has very little water, this did the trick!

Tyson just had to go to the "Heart Attack Grill". He got a cheeseburger and I got a margarita... that was half booze. They really are trying to kill you! :-)

I love this wall... it is somewhere in the Wynn I believe.
matched my dress nicely :)

So after Vegas we headed straight to Lake Havasu.

Our lovely crew!

Catching some rays!

We tore up Havasu!

I might be slightly, incredibly, overly EXCITED

So as most of you readers (all 9 of you) know, my boyfriend and I do a lot of traveling! We have an event in Lake Havasu City, NV coming up soon. The event is the Desert Storm Poker Run. It draws boaters from all over the country to see the unique scenery of the Nevada lakes.

Lake Havasu is only two hours away from Las Vegas so Tyson asked if I wanted to go there. I have never been to Las Vegas so I said "YES!!". I, of course, started researching "Top Ten Things to do in Las Vegas" and other corny stuff like a typical tourist would do. And then I remembered that Holly Madison's Peep Show is in Vegas.

i. love. holly. madison.

always have.

always will.

I expressed much interest in seeing her show and Tyson loves Cirque Du Soleil so I thought those would be two great shows to see on my first trip to Vegas.

With that being said, I know those shows are expensive so I didn't push him to buy tickets.

But the dear sweetheart he is, surprised me!! He bought tickets to both shows in literally, the front row!!!

I am soooooo excited!!!

So to top it all off, last night I tweeted Holly.... AND SEE REPLIED!!! AHHHHHH!!!!

I love Holly. She is so sweet, funny, and beautiful! I can't wait to see her up-close-and-personal-in-real-life!!!

I'll get pictures. :-)
