True Blue Party Punch

I made it through another holiday weekend! Hooray! This year I had to do a promo on Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz dealership so that threw off my usual Friday-Monday party. Oops. Oh well. Saturday afternoon Tyson and I headed straight to Grand Lake. We were out on the water all day Sunday then back to Joplin on Monday for a BBQ. I was in charge of the punch and I want to share my recipe with you! It was really big hit!
This is so easy to make!

Ingredients:
2 liter of Sprite

(I used light grape juice to lower the sugar content. You could also use Sprite Zero for less sugar.)

Pour equal parts of each into a punch bowl. Don't pour the Sprite until you serve the punch so that it doesn't go flat before guests drink it. Pour over ice and enjoy!

This punch is kid friendly... but we might have adultified it with some Malibu Pineapple Rum. It would also be tasty with vodka. Pour a splash of your chosen alcoholic beverage and then top with the party punch. Stir and enjoy!

  1. Hey gorgeous! I am new to the blog world and came across yours. That drink recipe sounds delish and the only thing I kept thinking is "all it needs is vodka" - I bet IF you guys put it in there, it was delicious ;) Talk to you soon! XO

  3. Could I freeze this ahead of time and then let it thaw out so it is slushy?

    1. Absolutely! If you have a green theme you are going with, green Hawaiian punch would be tasty, too. You could call it Groovy Green Punch!

  5. I'm confused about the ratios of the different ingredients. Which of the following would be accurate for me to use an entire 1-gallon bottle of the hawaiian punch?
    a. with 2-64 oz btls grape juice (one gal total) and 2-2 liter btls of sprite (appx. 1 gal total) ~ ALL ingredients are mixed with equal parts that total to one gallon each
    b. with 2-64 oz btls grape juice (one gal total, so these two ingredients are mixed at the same ratio with equal parts) and then add a single 2-liter of sprite right before the event?

    1. Sorry for the confusion. The answer would be A.

    2. Thanks! I won't be able to do a test run of it before our frozen party this weekend and don't have any time with which to tweak it when I do, so want to make sure I get it right from the get go. Can't wait to try it and see what it tastes like! :)
